Arrive at Kempegowda International Airport where you will be greeted by our team and escorted to your city hotel. Depending on your arrival time, head out for a leisurely visit to Cubbon Park or Lal Bagh Botanical Garden, two of the city’s green lungs. For those interested in culture, the Government Museum or Vidhana Soudha (from the outside) provides an excellent introduction to Bengaluru's blend of modern and historical. Evening free to relax. After breakfast, depart for Mysore, stopping en route at the island fortress town of Srirangapatna, once the stronghold of Tipu Sultan. Visit the Darya Daulat Palace, Gumbaz and Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple. Continue towards Mysore and check into a heritage hotel. Spend your afternoon at the exquisite Mysore Palace, famous for its Indo-Saracenic architecture and stunning interiors. In the evening, wander around the Devaraja Market, a local hub filled with vibrant colours and traditional goods. Overnight stay in Mysore.
This morning, climb Chamundi Hill to visit the Chamundeshwari Temple and enjoy panoramic views of the city. Later, explore the Jaganmohan Palace, which houses one of the finest art galleries in South India. You can also visit the St. Philomena Church, a Gothic-style structure inspired by the Cologne Cathedral. In the evening, stroll through the beautifully lit Brindavan Gardens and watch the Musical Fountain Show. Overnight stay in Mysore.
After breakfast, drive through the beautiful Nilgiri Biosphere to Ooty, the queen of hill stations. On arrival, head to your hill resort surrounded by tea plantations and pine forests. Visit the charming Ooty Botanical Garden, the historic Stone House and Doddabetta Peak – the highest point in the Nilgiris. Relax by taking a boat ride on Ooty Lake or walking through colonial-era heritage sites. Overnight in Ooty.
Today’s journey is a long but rewarding one, descending from the mountains to the lush green plains of Kerala. Pass through spice-growing areas, forests and rubber plantations before reaching Cochin, a vibrant port city with Portuguese-Dutch-British heritage. On arrival, check in at the Heritage Boutique Hotel. Evening at leisure – you can walk along Princess Street or dine along the waterfront. Overnight in Cochin.
After a relaxing breakfast, visit Fort Kochi – including the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and the iconic Chinese fishing nets. After lunch, drive to Alleppey, where you will board a private Kerala-style houseboat. Travel through tranquil canals lined with swaying palm trees, paddy fields and village houses. Enjoy freshly prepared local food on board as the boat moves slowly through the backwaters. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
Disembark at Kumarakom, a quiet village on the banks of the Vembanad Lake. Check in to your resort, which is surrounded by lotus-filled ponds and palm-shaded walkways. The day is free for rest and contemplation. Explore the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, or simply take a nap in a hammock by the lake. Optional canoe rides and Ayurvedic massages can also be arranged. Overnight stay will be in Kumarakom.
Today, travel south towards Kovalam, one of India's most loved beach destinations. Upon arrival, check into a beachside resort and relax. Stroll along the crescent-shaped beach, visit Lighthouse Beach, or enjoy a seafood lunch overlooking the sea. Overnight stay will be in Kovalam.
After breakfast, set out on a day trip to Thiruvananthapuram, the cultural and administrative capital of Kerala. Visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple (outdoor viewing for non-Hindus), explore the Napier Museum, the Sri Chitra Art Gallery, and drive through the city's beautiful boulevards. Return to Kovalam for sunset by the sea. Overnight in Kovalam.
Take the day at your own pace. Relax with an Ayurvedic spa treatment, enjoy a beachside yoga session, or shop for local handicrafts and textiles. If you wish, visit nearby fishing villages or enjoy water sports. It's simply a full day. Overnight in Kovalam.
After breakfast, move to Trivandrum International Airport for your onward journey. Depart with beautiful memories of the twin cultures of South India - the royal history of Karnataka and the coastal charm of Kerala.
After choosing your preferred itinerary, all you have to do to reserve your spot is send a deposit of 10% plus the cost of each booking for the train and airfare. Do your final payment when you arrive for the tour.

If you need to cancel the tour, you have up to 45 days before it starts. In that instance, your whole land deposit will be returned, along with any advance payments you made, within 14 business days.

If you have to cancel a trip after it has begun for whatever reason, we are not obligated to reimburse you for any unused services. Golden Triangle Tours In India will try our best to get back as much of your money as possible on your behalf or arrange a credit for future use.
You shall be responsible for and obligated to pay for any expenses incurred by cancellation or modification made between thirty days before the start date of the tour and the end date of the tour within twenty-four hours of the modification.
If the tour needs to be rescheduled or postponed for any reason other than illness or COVID-19, we are not obligated to pay you for any unused services. All tourists entering India excluding natives of Nepal and Bhutan require a valid visa. The six-month validity of a tourist visa cannot be extended. Travel insurance for overseas travel is meant to accompany you and assist you in making more informed travel choices. All travellers must obtain travel insurance, which must be purchased from their home country with a sum insured of at least USD 100,000. Insurance should be obtained before departure. Personal accidents, death, medical costs and emergency repatriation must all be covered by your insurance. It is highly recommended that you obtain coverage for personal responsibility, loss of luggage, cancellation and curtailment.
You are responsible for all of your belongings during the tour. On domestic carriers, the standard weight limit for checked baggage is 15 kg, and the weight limit for carry-on luggage is 7 kg.
Unfortunately, because our automobiles are not wheelchair accessible, those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility cannot join us on trips anymore.

Please note that if admission to a location is impacted by changes to working hours or public holiday closures, your itinerary may be adjusted, subject to availability, or a comparable activity may be provided in its place.

In the event that Golden Triangle India Tours receives notification of an inaccurate name, there will be a $100.00 booking fee in addition to any additional fees levied by the airline, cruise line, lodging provider or other travel suppliers.
