On this excursion, you will encounter tigers in Bandipur, elephants in Nagarhole, birds in Kumarakom, and the powerful Western Ghats, one of the eight most biologically diverse regions in the world. The route winds through backwater villages, heritage towns, hill stations, and national parks. You will experience both guided safaris and leisurely picturesque moments while traveling in a private vehicle and staying at carefully chosen eco-resorts and jungle lodges.

Upon your arrival in Bangalore, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to visit some of the city's highlights such as the botanical gardens of Lal Bagh, the vibrant streets of MG Road, or the royal Bangalore Palace. After breakfast, drive towards Mysore - the city is famous for its palaces, silk, and temples. On arrival, check-in and later explore the architectural marvel Mysore Palace, walk up Chamundi Hill, and if time permits, stroll through the Brindavan Gardens. Overnight in Mysore.
This morning, head towards the wild heart of Karnataka - Nagarhole National Park. After reaching your jungle lodge, relax and get ready for an afternoon jeep safari where you may spot elephants, gaur (Indian bison), leopards, and possibly a tiger. Overnight at a nature lodge.
Spend the whole day in wildlife mode. Take early morning and late afternoon safaris in the park, each of which reveals different aspects of the forest. In between, you can relax, enjoy local cuisine or join nature walks guided by naturalists. Overnight stay will be at the lodge.
After breakfast, drive to Biligiri Rangan Hills (BR Hills) – a transition zone between the Western and Eastern Ghats and rich in biodiversity. Check out one of the forest rest stops and enjoy lunch. The evening can include a visit to a tribal village or a nature walk. Overnight stay at BR Hills.
BR Hills is a paradise for bird lovers and trekkers. Start the day with a jungle walk led by a local naturalist and spot endemic species. Later, visit the local Soliga tribal settlement or enjoy the natural setting at leisure. Overnight stay will be at BR Hills.
After a short picturesque drive, reach Bandipur National Park. One of the best managed tiger reserves of India, Bandipur has high chances of seeing the big cats. Settle into your safari lodge and set out for an afternoon safari through dry deciduous forests. Night stay at Bandipur.
Today enjoy two wildlife safaris - one in the morning and one in the evening. In between drives, relax amidst the serene surroundings, enjoy nature photography or visit a nearby village. Night stay at Bandipur.
After breakfast, head to the attractive hill station of Ooty. Located in the Nilgiris, this former British haven is known for its cool climate and spacious gardens. Explore the Ooty Lake, Botanical Gardens and take a stroll through the bustling local market. Overnight stay will be in Ooty.
Today there is a long but beautiful drive to Munnar through the lush gardens and wooded valleys of the Western Ghats. En route, stop at Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Check-in to your mountain resort in Munnar. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Spend your day discovering the beautiful landscapes of Munnar. Visit the Tea Estates, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and go on a short walk if you wish. You can even opt for a tea-tasting session. Overnight stay will be in Munnar.
After breakfast, drive towards Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, a paradise of elephants and rich biodiversity. Check in at the Jungle Lodge and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. If interested, attend a local martial arts show or cooking demo in the evening. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Today also includes a boat safari on the Periyar Lake, which offers unique views of elephants bathing on the banks. Later, visit a spice plantation and see how
Travel to the serene backwaters of Kumarakom, where you will enjoy a beautiful lakeside setting. Spend the rest of the day watching birds or enjoying a canoe ride. Overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Board a traditional Kerala houseboat and swim in the scenic backwaters. Watch life unfold along the canals as you enjoy a freshly prepared meal on the boat. Stay overnight on a houseboat as it is anchored in a peaceful village.
After disembarkation, drive towards Kovalam, Kerala's most famous beach town. Relax along the Arabian Sea or enjoy lunch along the beach. Afterwards, transfer to Trivandrum Airport for your onward journey.
After choosing your preferred itinerary, all you have to do to reserve your spot is send a deposit of 10% plus the cost of each booking for the train and airfare. Do your final payment when you arrive for the tour.

If you need to cancel the tour, you have up to 45 days before it starts. In that instance, your whole land deposit will be returned, along with any advance payments you made, within 14 business days.

Should travel restrictions imposed by the government necessitate the cancellation of your trip, your deposit and any advance payments will be completely reimbursed towards a complimentary future tour with us.

If you have to cancel a trip after it has begun for whatever reason, we are not obligated to reimburse you for any unused services. Golden Triangle Tours In India will try our best to get back as much of your money as possible on your behalf or arrange a credit for future use.
You shall be responsible for and obligated to pay for any expenses incurred by cancellation or modification made between thirty days before the start date of the tour and the end date of the tour within twenty-four hours of the modification.
If the tour needs to be rescheduled or postponed for any reason other than illness or COVID-19, we are not obligated to pay you for any unused services. You are accountable for any related expenses, which need to be covered within a day.

All tourists entering India excluding natives of Nepal and Bhutan require a valid visa. The six-month validity of a tourist visa cannot be extended. Travel insurance for overseas travel is meant to accompany you and assist you in making more informed travel choices. All travellers must obtain travel insurance, which must be purchased from their home country with a sum insured of at least USD 100,000. Insurance should be obtained before departure. Personal accidents, death, medical costs and emergency repatriation must all be covered by your insurance. It is highly recommended that you obtain coverage for personal responsibility, loss of luggage, cancellation and curtailment.
You are responsible for all of your belongings during the tour. On domestic carriers, the standard weight limit for checked baggage is 15 kg, and the weight limit for carry-on luggage is 7 kg.
Unfortunately, because our automobiles are not wheelchair accessible, those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility cannot join us on trips anymore.

Please note that if admission to a location is impacted by changes to working hours or public holiday closures, your itinerary may be adjusted, subject to availability, or a comparable activity may be provided in its place.

In the event that Golden Triangle India Tours receives notification of an inaccurate name, there will be a $100.00 booking fee in addition to any additional fees levied by the airline, cruise line, lodging provider or other travel suppliers.
